Oliver

"Oliver."

Yawn. "Yes?"

"Come with me, please."

"But why? I have barely begun my journey."

"You need to come with me. You have been chosen."

"I don't understand. My journey has just begun."

"We need you. Come with me. Take my hand."

"Who is that down there?"

"That is your mother."

"Who is that?"

"That is your father."

"That is me, between them? I don't remember being that big."

"That is your older brother. You are still in your mother."

"Oh. So I am not so big. I must be very small. Won't my mother be very sad if I leave?"

"Yes. Your family will be very sad. But you must answer your call."

"When will my mother know that I have left?"

"Soon. It will happen in a few days."

"Can I stay here, above them?"

"Yes, you can be with them for a while, to help them accept your loss, if you can."

"Why does my mother not know yet?"

"She doesn't realize this could happen to you. She feels she is over the worst danger and from here everything will go fine. She does realize you have not moved a lot, but she doesn't know the reason for this."

"When will she realize?"

"Soon. Several days may pass."

"Oliver, she will find out soon. She will be seeing a doctor who will not find your heartbeat inside of her. Now, especially, she needs your presence."

"She is crying. She must have been told."

"Yes, Oliver. She will be very sad for quite a while. Your mother and father both were looking forward to you very much. Their lives and plans will be changing quite drastically now."

"Mother, do not cry. I am always a part of you and will always be nearby."

"She will come to realize that."

"Over there. My father. He is crying now."

"Your mother has told him about you. He suspected before but the news is still as surprising as for your mother."

"He comes to my mother. Good. He is holding her. Maybe she can start feeling better now."

"Not yet, Oliver. It will take much longer."

"They leave together now. She is so big. I am still in her?"

"Yes. Later, your body will come out. She can start on her road to recovery after that."

"How long will she need to recover?"

"I do not know. It is greatly in her hands. It may take a lifetime."

"We are near where my mother learned about me."

"Yes. She is going to the hospital nearby the doctor's clinic."

"That is a long, sad walk for her."

"Yes. They know at the end of the walk and are already sad for her and you."

"Sad for me? Why? Aren't I going to a better place?"

"Yes, you are. But your mother, father, and others are sad you are not able to join them and walk among them and be with them in body as well as spirit."

"Who is that?"

"Jodi. She knows about you and your mother and is helping to ease the pain she knows your mother is feeling."

"Where did my brother go?"

"He is with your mother's sister and her family. He is safe at this time. He only understands a portion of what is occurring. He will be fine and well taken care of."

"My mother is so sad. Is there anything I can do?"

"Just staying with her a while will help. She should be able to feel your presence although it will be very faint to her."

"I wish I could do more. I also wish I had not been called."

"I know. Often, it seems there is so much more to be done. But you have been called and must answer to it as we need you with us."

"But I am only with you. And here."

"That is to help with the healing of your family."

"What are they doing to my mother? She is feeling pain."

"They are preparing medicine to help her. Your body needs to separate from her soon to help her start on the healing path."

"Good. My mother sleeps."

"Yes. She needs rest for the days ahead."

"Who is that?"

"Traci. She is here to further help your mother."

"Traci has a gentle touch. I can see she is helping mother and father already."

"Yes. She will bring another who will help immensely."

"That is good. They need help now."

"Yes. Help is on the way in many forms, large and small."

"Jenni is here now to help. She will be there when your body comes out."

"She looks nice."

"Yes. She cares deeply about what she does and wants to help as much as possible."
